Keeping the Kids Active Without Leaving Home

Like most households with small children during this time, we are trying to find something anything to keep these kids busy. And if you’re kids are like mine they get bored easy and start tearing the house apart. So I have to keep them busy. Although a lot of times for my kiddos it’s with music.

I’ve started using Pinterest as my favorite past time. I find so many fun ideas on their. I even piggy back off their ideas and create some of my own. Me and my kids color together, do science experiments, make house decorations even learned many DIYs. Let’s not forget challenges, kids are so competitive. We do a lot of the challenges we find on YouTube and Tiktok. All this for a very cheap price too! I’ve found sewing kits at the dollar store for $1. I’ve found hot glue guns under $10. I’ve bought crayons, coloring books, pens, and markers for $1. Food you could use your EBT or go to the dollar store. Which happens to be my favorite store btw!

Our next project is going to be to make lava lamps. Which I found I Facebook. You take a glass fill it half way with oil, add water, put a few drops of food coloring(15 max), and let a alka-selzer sink to the bottom. Watch the magic begin! A lot of times you can find home activities without even trying. The thing is we always say we want to do something stop that and just do it!
